# Skillko Learn: Enhance Compliance Integrity with Photo Audit

By   Padraic Geraghty  ·   1 minute read

At Skillko, we’re dedicated to providing a comprehensive and engaging learning experience for all our users. Today, we are excited to announce a new feature designed to enhance the integrity of our courses and ensure that learners remain actively engaged throughout their sessions: Photo Audit. Photo Audit will be available to customers who are interested in participating in our beta program for this feature throughout June before a general release in July.

### Why Regular Photo Intervals?

In the digital age, the convenience of online learning comes with the challenge of maintaining attendee engagement. While our platform offers flexibility and accessibility, we recognize the need to ensure that users are truly benefiting from the content and not just passively completing courses. That’s where Photo Audit comes in.

### How Does It Work?

Our new feature periodically activates the device’s camera to take photos at random intervals during a course session. This simple yet effective mechanism ensures that the registered user is present and actively participating in the learning process. Here’s how it works:

- **Automatic Activation:** During a course, the camera will automatically take a photo at various points, determined by our intelligent algorithm.
- **Privacy First:** These photos are securely stored and used solely to verify attendance. We are committed to maintaining user privacy and data security.
- **Easy Verification:** Administrators can quickly review the photos to confirm active participation.

### Benefits of Photo Audit

- **Enhanced Accountability:** Learners are encouraged to stay engaged, knowing that their presence is being monitored.
- **Improved Course Completion Rates:** By reducing the chances of users passively playing videos, we ensure that they are truly absorbing the material, leading to better knowledge retention.
- **Increased Integrity:** This feature adds an extra layer of integrity to our certification process, ensuring that all certifications are earned through genuine effort and learning.
